I don't have eyes on the man's bank balance, but he's worth a lot more than you and I. And I think that ultimately he could do this.
He's a singular artist in that regard.
He is a guy who came from nothing, but he has become a massive, massive figure in the entertainment industry.
And I think, you know, it's mentioned that himself and Macklemore, for example, are friends for 13 years.
And friends can have disagreements.
That's completely fine.
Like family members will fall out, like whatever.
But this is just so strange in that he, in my opinion, Ed Sheeran has been hiding behind other people.
He said things like, well, you know, the venue operators and the promoters have said this and my hands are tied.
To quote him directly, I am not complicit.
But you're Ed Sheeran.
You're not your bog standard musical artist.
You have so much power.
and so much sway, and like I say, enough money in the bank, and millions of fans across the world.
I think he absolutely could have pulled the brakes on this and said that I would rather kill my own tour than have another artist have their freedom of speech suppressed, but he chose the commercial side of things, and now look at him.
Yeah, this is a very, very influential figure himself, Robert Kraft.
He is himself Jewish and he has himself started causes and funded causes that tackle anti-Semitism, which on basic paper, that's a good thing.
Tackling anti-Semitism is a good thing.
Although I personally don't think that McLemore, for example, who's been accused of being anti-Semitic is that.
We can discuss maybe things in his past which have been a bit questionable.
