I mean, it's kind of like... I consider myself quite an emotional person and I've no problem...

publicly stating that whether it's in an instagram post or on a podcast or whatever but there's a level of fakeness to something where you know you see like oh joe you were just the greatest person anyone could ever know you're brilliant like it's like come on like like it's you can you can sniff it out a mile away and you can see this thing and the interesting like the royal family comparison the unofficial royal family thing is quite interesting because maybe the like a reason people do hold them up on that pedestal is because they look at david and victoria as previously working class people who you know like

conquered their industries, in the case of Manchester United, winger and pop star, respectively.

That's aspirational.

The royal family is not aspirational.

They're a freak show for a lot of people.

A freak show that maybe we kind of secretly love because we've got weird Stockholm Syndrome ties in Britain.

But when it comes to David and Victoria, you're like, that could be me.

If I was as good a footballer as him, I could have the world as well.

And, you know, he seems kind of humble and down to earth, at least for a time.

She too, as well.

She seems like a good mother.

You know, like, people flip between...

and look there is a big level here of media coercion as well because I remember vividly seeing Victoria Beckham years ago on a documentary and she was talking about how like one of the magazines the cheapo magazines that are constantly about like you know here's a celebrity on the beach look at how fat they are and it's like they look normal but like

She was saying, oh, I'm being criticized for being too skinny over here and over here.

And then six pages later, you have a thing where it's like, get Victoria's body or, you know, look, like lose two dress sizes in two weeks.

It's all part of the carousel of that as well.

So that's been going on forever again.

And all social media has done, of course, is exacerbate that massively.

She's very respected in that field though.
