I thought tonight he was certainly efficient, 6 of 11 from the field, you know, certainly by his standards, 7 of 10 from the line, which is in line with his normal percentages, 70%.

But this is just a really bad matchup for Shingun.

Obviously, if the Rockets are ever a playoff series with Detroit, it's a good sign, right?

But, you know, I would hate to be in a playoff matchup with this team with Shang-Goon, frankly, lined up against those two guys.

They're really good at doing the things that slow Shang-Goon down, which is force him to pick up his dribble.

He tries to bully you, and it's very tough to bully Durin and Isaiah Stewart.

I thought we saw a lot of that tonight.

Zero rebounds in the first half for Shingun.

Picked up one in the second half, so finished with one rebound.

Five turnovers to go with his five assists.

I'm not saying Shingun was terrible today.

I just did not love the overall effort against a team where the whole game, 48 minutes, is going to be super physical.

I thought when they brought him back into the fourth quarter, they started to lose that lead a little bit.

You saw some tweets about Emig going into Shingun on some sort of defensive play, I think when maybe Dern or Stewart scored over him.

Again, I don't know if it's the ankle or what.

He was efficient offensively, but you weren't getting a whole lot of the things you expect from a center.

They put him on Sir Thompson to start the game.

He didn't guard Dern for the most part and was in drop a lot as well.

So I would have expected, frankly, more rebounds tonight.
