I wanted to write how I feel like you are in the Australian mind or how people feel about you.

So this is just to finish out your bio.

Dave Hughes is woven into the soul of Australia.

For decades, he's been more than a comic voice.

He's been a companion, showing up in our kitchens, cars, lounge rooms and hearts, reminding us that laughter is what carries us through.

His honesty, his vulnerability and that unmistakable voice has given Australians permission to embrace who we are, messy, flawed, hopeful and human.

Husey doesn't just make us laugh, he makes us feel less alone and for that we don't just admire him, we love him.

I feel like that's how Australians feel about you.

But I feel like it's very, I mean, I just wonder if you now, you've done so much and you've been literally so unbelievably busy from the time you started your career to now, do you ever stop and think about that?

Do you ever think back to the shy kid who grew up in Warrnambool?

And with an element of pride to what you've achieved?

What do you – so by all objective measures, you're extremely successful and extremely popular in Australia.

But what do you struggle with?

What are the things that you struggle with?

Because I mean I've seen the stuff around how you're always working.

You say yes to everything and you have this fear that Monday it might disappear and you may not be there.
