Have you had moments like that where you've just witnessed something and you go, oh, man.
It's hard navigating that system.
So when we advocate, yeah, yeah, yeah.
A lot of times, you know, I can imagine this mother's embarrassed, doesn't know what questions to ask, doesn't know what services are available, what she's entitled to, and no one's going to tell her.
No one there's going to tell her.
That's what people up here need to understand.
It doesn't matter what you think of the parents.
It's not those kids' fault.
Those five tamariki that are homeless living with them.
What do you say to anyone going through these tough times now that might be on the brink of homelessness, might be experiencing homelessness right now?
What would you say to that person?
What do you say to family members or friends like myself who are going through having one of their mates or their brother, sister in the depth of addiction and homelessness?
