Yeah, there would have been a lot of resentment towards your parents.
I mean, nothing compared to what you've gone through, but I still have that little bit of resentment towards, you know, them not, why am I, why was I not raised here?
Why didn't you come get me?
You know, all these things.
And we haven't spoken about it.
forgiving your parents for that?
Well, for me, it never really goes.
So when you're in a dark place, it seems like there's nothing else, especially if you've been through a lot of trauma.
And I always remember when I was rebuilding in 2014,
exercise, like you said, was really saving my life.
I had to exercise all the time because I remember like it was yesterday driving home from exercise and thinking about driving into a power pole, like constantly trying to fight not to do it, fighting in my mind, you know, the inner critic, talking to myself, you know, like trying to find reasons to...
That's a tough one with men because are we getting better at asking for help, do you think?
