You know, you kind of got to go through these channels and you need kind of a lot of money and demonstrate that you have a lot of money to be able to even get the certificate that allows you to buy the power off them anyway.

But, and then I went home to Tokoro, to my grandmother and I shared with her that I was going to do this.

And then she said, that's great grandson.

Cause when you do, I won't have to pay for my, my power bill anymore.

You know, I started laughing as well.

I was cracking up and then she started crying.

And I was like, oh, what's going on there?

And then she kind of shared something that kind of pivoted the direction or nudged Nomara in the direction it needed to go in.

And she shared that sometimes she sits there cold and alone and afraid to turn the heat pump on because she's scared she won't be able to afford the Powerball.

Now understanding, I've never seen this from my nan.

The sight of her is not something I've ever encountered.

Like she was, my parents had me really young, so she played a huge part in my upbringing.

So she was always kind.
