In North Carolina's Senate primary, the state's former governor, Democrat Roy Cooper, will face off against the former chair of the Republican National Committee, Michael Watley, in November's general election.
The Associated Press called the race for Cooper and Watley in each party's primary.
Cooper and Watley are seeking the Senate seat currently held by Republican Tom Tillis.
He's not seeking re-election.
The Trump administration says it's decided to detain all unaccompanied migrant girls who are also pregnant in one shelter in South Texas.
