But let's be clear.
The Republicans, under the leadership of Speaker Johnson,
have been trying to deny, obfuscate and ignore this scandal.
And you may have seen like over the weekend, Mike Johnson claimed that incredulously, like that Donald Trump was an FBI informant.
Like they're just grasping for straws at this point with crazy, ridiculous theory after crazy excuse.
But but again, the point here is that we are going up against a very organized opposition, Republican leadership, Donald Trump, the White House, the FBI, the DOJ.
They are all trying to stop us from getting to the truth.
But there are a number of us in Congress that are determined we are going to do everything we can to get to the bottom of this.

Again, I do want to say we have no reason to think that he was in any way involved with that check itself.
Also, no reason to think he's connected any wrongdoing involving Jeffrey Epstein.

We have lots of reasons to think he was involved in wrongdoing.
