Jeff Bezos does not.

billionaire several times over guess what you're hanging around with other billionaires and they're all you know they're all got you know their investments cross over and etc so but also i think for bezos it's in if he does indeed it makes sense i think because if you are someone like jeff bezos whose limp whose wealth is in reality unlimited yeah you cannot spend that element you have that amount of wealth um

you are looking at ways where you can invest sensibly.

So I think we've spoken about it in the past, that kind of, um, document that was, was knocking around prior to, um, the conclusion of the dynasty equity deal.

It was kind of value, you know, saying in, in by 2030, 2032, Liverpool could be a $11 billion business, you know, so what's that nine and a half billion pound business, um, valuation, um,

If you're someone with unlimited wealth thinking, you know what, I'll take a small stake in this because if I'm putting in a few hundred million, I'm probably going to realise a return on that in the next five years because I don't think the value of Liverpool is going to decrease because Premier League rights are still fairly buoyant until the next cycle.

Commercially, the club is doing well and as long as it maintains Champions League football regularly,

um it should be fine and also there's loads of other things which uh are coming into our line of sight now in terms of how you grow a business so talked about it a few weeks a few weeks ago about how eventually we will get to a point where how we the global fan will be able to purchase a virtual season ticket and watch it through and their meta glasses or whatever or a headset where they literally watching the game with the same view that they would get um

in their seat, essentially, and people will pay a premium for that.

And guess who's involved heavily in tech?

Jeff Bezos, Amazon.

Maybe he thinks this is a good place to try out new tech and invest in that and develop some of this.

Or they've also got his e-commerce business.

Can he help Liverpool in that respect?

Or it might just be, this is good, I can stick my money in this for a bit, see some more back, and then I don't have to do anything.

I don't think he particularly cares.
