Like it it it seems it they have never really had to worry about these people in the past.
And it's strange that they are actually coming out and saying we're a little bit worried about Netflix.
And they should be a little bit worried about Netflix.
But it's weird that they're publicly worried about Netflix in this way.

Oh, I wanted to make a quick clarification.
It's called engaged views now.
So it's not qualified views.
It's called engaged views.
And this is important because literally a like a week ago, YouTube changed the way that their uh the YouTubers can get into the partner program, both through shorts and through the actual long, they call it long form now.
Long form YouTube partner program.
Used to be that they needed four thousand.
Uh watch hours in order to become a YouTube partner.
Now it is 8,000.
And so when they did that and then they changed the way that views were counted, people were like, oh, they're just changing it to 8,000 because it's way easier to get a view now.
No, because it has to be 8,000 engaged views.
So there will be a different engaged views metric in the YouTube studio app in which you have all this data.

I just also feel that we are getting worse and worse indicators of the quality of a video because they got rid of the dislike button.
