Because the new baby arrives and everybody's all about the new baby.

I mean, that's just the unfortunate reality of it, even though we all say, oh, no, you know, you'll never be replaced.

But actually, you know, you're kind of tossed to the side and everybody's googling and googling the baby and, you know, giving it treats and wanting to hold it.

You're a passing thought, you know, as the older child.

And so it's really beholden to, you know, parents, to godparents, to aunts and uncles, to grannies and granddads to

sure, yes, about the older child and to let the older child be sometimes the...

the intermediary, you know, you bring granny and granddad in to see little Mary, you know, so that your son or daughter has this role now as, you know, the one who gets, controls access almost.

And so that means then that you can be proud of your little baby sister or brother and so on.

So, yeah, just don't worry about talking about it too much.

It's going to happen anyway.

I mean, he doesn't have a choice, unfortunately.

And so I wouldn't bother yet talking too much about it or trying to persuade him in advance that it's going to be okay.

None of you know how it's actually going to be until the baby arrives anyway.

And what you will probably find is your world becomes a blur all over again with your second child.
