Look, what can be done about this?
You mentioned open-ended questions on tests being a helpful way to grade students who ask these good questions.
What do you want professors and people who design testing to know?
Do they still use Scantron in universities?
That's what they were using in 2011 when I graduate.
You know, those multiple choice fill in.
I don't even know.
It's a proprietary machine.
So how are you going to convince professors to not take the easy route when it comes to grading?
Imagine they have hundreds of students in their classes.
And what advice would you give students based on what you've studied?
I know we can tell professors to design different types of tests and stuff.
Some will listen, many won't.
But a student who wants to do the best, what kinds of questions should they be asking and when?
What would be the big takeaway for me if I was entering my first year of university?
Well, Tuval, I've had you here to talk about your research and I'm glad you have, but you are a creativity researcher.
And so I wonder if we might follow this tangent.
Are there secrets to being more creative at what we do?
I'm asking for a friend who's a radio host who interviews people and wants to do it more creatively.
It's not me.
