Are seats Trump won.
Over twenty of those he won by over nine points, and I think eight or nine of them he won by over thirteen points in twenty twenty four.
There are races in there that include a seat that Trump won sixty one thirty-eight in Ohio.
There's a seat that Trump won sixty forty in Texas, and they're getting money.
From the national republican committees, presumably because they're worried about losing those seats.
In addition, there are several races that are gerrymandered seats.
This is I I looked pretty much only at the house in this analysis.
Gerrymander seats that uh were designed and drawn specifically for Republicans to win Texas, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina.
Ten of those seats are getting money on the main uh Republican committees.
Actually I think it's eleven.
And uh they're clearly not locked down, even though they were drawn as seats that Trump won by double digits.
it you if you look at that, you really get a picture of Republicans knowing they're screwed, they're gonna lose the toss-offs, and they're trying to salvage the, you know, outer edge to maintain at least some semblance of of power in Washington.

Yeah, we wrote about it at the time and it was clear that they were basing this on the Trump vote in twenty twenty four.
And the Trump vote, particularly in South Texas.
uh significant shifts from the Democrats to the Republicans that year.
But every poll and uh and and uh you know survey of public sentiment in those communities has shown a dramatic shift back.
The Democratic.
And so yeah, uh those seats in South Texas, uh twenty-eighth district and the thirty-fourth district are held by Democratic incumbents.
uh Henry Cuyar and uh Vincente Gonzalez, those are double digit Trump seats that those two incumbents are likely to win.
