That's the other thing.
It's like swing seats aren't all the same.
This is a poor district in the Central Valley that is 73% Latino and and has you know a lot of of really serious needs.
And so putting someone in that district that says, actually I need help for my constituents, rather than I'm gonna take
the midpoint between uh these two policies and and you know we have to make tough choices to cut social security or whatever, uh that's not gonna work in in that district.
And so uh I I think
you know, there there's going to be a real change.
And people have said that to me, that this creates, you know, I hate the word per I hate the phrase permission structure, but it does kind of create a permission structure for uh for voters, for Democratic voters who always sort of foreground electability, especially in presidential races, to say, actually I can I can vote my hopes instead of my fears.

Um I I think that we are too quick
perhaps because of of the sort of dominance of science fiction in popular culture, to immediately move to think about the risks of AI as, you know, Skynet like, as Terminator like.
when there are smaller but still catastrophic risks to AI that are present right now.
Misdiagnosis in healthcare, chatbots helping kids commit suicide, uh you know, faulty uh AI uh fueled uh transportation systems uh like like Tesla self driving crashing into trees.
