Because he's been doing some good things in Colorado, and he's about due for a big deal.

No, I would imagine it's going to take some adjusting.

Peachtree was still adjusting to Cooley.

They had been skating together since basically the start of camp.

So while Balinstas has been up with the team, and he's been there, he's been present, it's not a surprise that there'd be a little bit of an adjustment period.

And there is a reason that Kulikov was the starter ahead of Balinstas.

Ottawa fans seem to be upset that he left.

I don't think that.

Obviously not.

And to the Panthers' credit, you know, they've done a good job in targeting players that fit into their system.

So I would imagine they view him as somebody that could slide in once he learns everything and potentially play.

But I think this is more of a depth move than anything else.

They've got Toby Bjornfot at the AHL level that could come up to play at the NHL if they need somebody that badly.

But, you know, you just got to make sure that your depth is taken care of.
