You're going to bring in the most fiery coach that you can think of over the last several generations, and John Tortorella to go over there and fix things in Vegas.

Can he play goal?

That's my question.

Well, I mean, you think back, you know, what did they bring in Robin Leonard at one point years ago?

Marc-Andre Fleury was probably the best goaltending move that they've ever had, and then they traded him.

And it just kind of makes me think about all the other, like you talk about the coaching decisions.

Gerard Gallant, successful coach there, fired him.

Peter DeBoer, successful coach there, they fired him just because they couldn't get over the hump and get to that last moment.

Jonathan Marcheseau, Conn Smythman, didn't have no problems getting rid of him.

So this is a team that they have no problem ripping off the Band-Aid, going against conventional wisdom.

Is it going to work out this time?

I'm very, very curious to find out.

Is that on the coach, though?

Isn't that on the players?

I hope that's the decision that they came to.

This late in the season, you would think that they brought him in thinking not just for the next month, right?

That's going to be their coach next season, and who knows how much longer after that.

But still, Peter DeBoer.

He's succeeded everywhere he's gone, except Florida, because that was his first job.

But, like, everywhere he's gone, he's found success.
