We know that what makes ideas sticky is when you embed them in what's called your semantic network, which is like if you picture a spider web of ideas in your head.

Threads that are attached to it, the stickier it is because when one idea vibrates a thread, it's attached to more other things that then get activated.

And so I think when you have a central idea and you come at it from all these different angles, you're basically building the semantic network that makes the idea memorable and makes it adaptable to all these different contexts.
