Look, everybody's going to point the finger in every which direction.
This is now, in recent memory, the third, I want to say the third summer of raging forest fires in the last five or six years.
Nova Scotia, remember, they locked people out of the forest because of the risk of forest fire.
You know, apparently walking through the forest spontaneously causes forest fires.
It's like year after year after year, there's obviously a problem.
They want to initially and reflexively say it's climate change, but even the last ones that we had in Quebec, they had an expert come on and say, yeah, sure, a lot of these are being started by arson, but they're being exacerbated by climate change.
The bottom line, they've been happening year over year over year now.
There's obviously something systemic in there that is not
I say not the climate crisis, but rather forest management at large.
The ability to fight these forest fires.
There has been a purging of the firefighting force in Canada as a result of the COVID mandates or the vaccine mandates, the jab mandates.
And there's obviously a problem.
They're not addressing it.
You got Doug Ford, the premier of Ontario, now taking a rush trip to Prince Edward Island.
To talk about forest management, firefighting response, it's too late once it's happening for the third or fourth year in a row.
But I think you have to be stupid at this point to say it's not forest management problems to some extent, whether it's a climate crisis.
I mean, we've been having a wet-ish summer in Canada anyhow, but it's always the same thing.
apparent force of mismanagement, apparent arson, and arguable lack of resources, which is why you got Doug Ford now begging America for, yet again, more support, because they may or may not have purged a lot of their firefighting force out of the firefighting force through these COVID jab mandates.
That is a new-ish one to me.
