Well, at least we've done away with plastic straws up in Canada, and now you've got your bleached disintegrating paper straws that end up in your gut.

I was just up there in Canada and you're sucking out of these drinks and the straw literally dissolves as you're drinking it.

And if you're drinking out of these plastic cups for hot liquids, I'm not sure plastics are any better, but the bottom line, these fires emit CO2, plants absorb, they breathe CO2, they emit oxygen afterwards.

There's a cycle of life that goes on in here.

And while they're effectively crippling an economy with some of our energy laws in Canada,

Yeah, a volcano erupts, I don't know, out in the middle of nowhere and undoes all of the hard work.

And China also just continues.

But it makes you feel good.

The bottom line, there's obviously the problem.

There's a problem.

It's either management, arson, maybe a little bit of climate crisis is in there as well.

But even if that's the case and it's a big if, you're not undoing that in a summer.

So you'd better start responding to it and clearing debris, clearing brush, setting up breakers so that it doesn't get this bad every single summer.

Not just that, they actually incentivize eco-terrorism to the extent the Nova Scotia forest fire was arson.

The Quebec forest fire was arson.

Whether or not climate crisis, call it that in quotes, exacerbates it, you are setting up an incentive for eco-terrorists to start these fires.

And instead of the government addressing the issue, setting up breakers, clearing up debris, they lock people out of being able to hike in the crown's lands.

I mean, that's how you take your own negligence and punish the citizens for your own governmental negligence.

Someone tried to convince me there's a scientific reason why...

straws, that you get the flavor to your taste buds without going through your teeth, which I've never paid much attention to.
