The energy and activism is in that direction, and the resistance is difficult because those people who are engaging in that Christian nationalist project are very willing to slander, shame, and bully those people who don't go along with the project. voice-verified

So the safest thing, even if you disagree, is just to remain silent, which is a very similar phenomenon to woke one on the left. voice-verified

There were a lot of people in the center left who were very uncomfortable with what was happening and they resented being lumped in with the far left progressive mob, but they didn't do anything to stop it or very few people did because it's scary. voice-verified

It was terrifying to be in the crosshairs of these movements. voice-verified

And so what ends up happening is you develop this totally unjustified sense of grievance like, voice-verified

Why are you mad at me when you did nothing to stop it at all? voice-verified

And then also as an added bonus, continue to vote for the very same people that the far that the most extreme and intolerant people have presented to you as your only option. voice-verified

And and so when all of that is added together, you know, and again, I don't want to be this is we're not in the Jim Crow era at all. voice-verified

but I grew up around a lot of Southerners who were resentful that they were lumped in with the actual virulent segregationists. voice-verified

And when they were no such thing, and they had a lot of discomfort with segregation and the way black people were treated in the South and did nothing, right? voice-verified

And so that's kind of where we are as guys, at some point, if you're in this exhausted majority, you gotta drink an energy drink. voice-verified

You know, stop feeling sorry for yourself. voice-verified

Stop feeling aggrieved that people lump you in with the bad people. voice-verified

Drink your monster energy drinks, chase it with a Red Bull and get out there and do something about it. voice-verified
