And that grew and grew and grew.
And that's how they became $170 trillion of net worth today, the middle class, because they owned a piece of the American business.
You know, we really did kind of fuck this up.
And we got ourselves to a point where, you know, we put the wrong policy in place.
And I think it's not too late to fix that, right?
Like,
Every American, instead of having a social security account, they should have the equivalent of a 401k where they own stocks.
And when they retire, they get all those stocks.
Or they can start taking a piece of it out when they turn 50 and take some money out every year and start living on that.
if they want to.
You know, this whole idea that you only get a fixed income when you turn 62 or whatever it is, is crazy.
You should put money in, own a piece of business that makes America drive, that we all participate in, grow with it, and take some out when you want.
Yeah.
It's a lot easier to claim an enemy, get elected, than it is to fix a difficult policy problem.
And I think that's the fundamental kind of concern I have right now.
Again, like, I don't think that the people that are complaining and that are trying to go down the socialist path are wrong in how they're feeling.
I think they're absolutely right.
And I think the politicians...
take advantage of it.
I think that they feed into it in a way that doesn't actually look at realistic solutions.
