being on a banner, you really are kind of talking about, you know, there's a project that's 25 or 35 acres, not one that's even two acres or, I don't know, I actually would agree with the vice chair here that there are certain kinds of subdivisions within, particularly maybe subdivisions in R1, perhaps those,
warrant a different noticing.
That's an area that wouldn't be covered right now, I think, specifically R1 subdivision or maybe R3 subdivision.
Those would be areas where probably of interest, of course, probably only of interest locally to a pretty small group.
So I think it would be great if there were a way to
you know, to think about something in that territory.
But, you know, without a specific recommendation, you know, it's just a comment.
I think that there are, that particular case of I'm subdividing and I'm going to add a number of ADUs to a property,
That seems, I believe that's something that's worthy of notice.
We've had a couple, I mean, you know, there are emails that come which are maybe not,
You certainly understand the concern that the homeowner has.
There was the one where the person is building an ADU, which is of legal but unusual height and very close to the fence.
And then when they're actually talking about, well, now there's an issue here because I see they're putting the water heaters and things like that.
If there were a way to have some noticing of that, I think that that's something that's probably missing today.
I think it would be very easy for somebody to decide to build an ADU and it would be hard to know about unless you were an immediate, immediately adjoining neighbor.
But I have no solution on what that would be, or of course there are legal implications as well, since ADUs have a lot of waivers of the normal non-ADU rules.
Well.
So I will comment that I think that the paper is actually very good.
It captures a lot of the things that everybody knew, and it captures a few things that not everybody would have thought of having not read it.
It's also valuable because it's very brief.
