And what we do when we're in the cotton field, we have a lot of watermelons and guess what?

The seeds uh you know, when you're picking cotton and you come up and they're man, there's this big watermelon and it's got it's in the morning, there's dew on it.

And uh you just break it open, there's no way you're gonna share it with anybody.

And you just get your hand in the big middle of that and that's probably as close to heaven as you can get is in the cotton field and and getting a big piece of the watermelon.

Well, it's something the government would give you and I remember taking a a wagon down to pick the commodities up and I remember me and my brother we'd sit out on the stairs of the church and we'd say

Oh, we get commodities and you don't, but it's none of your business.

And so that was one of the songs we sang, you know.

So we were really proud to have commodities.

But God had always taken care of us.

At the end of the day, God has always taken care of us.

And that's something I'll never forget as my father and my mother in in their prayer time and they

They just asked the Lord and the Lord always delivered us and supplied for our needs.

Yeah, I I did.

Actually school was probably my worst subject.
