It's great to talk to you, Jim, and you are in a unique position because having played for the Bears in your relationship with the McCaskey family and now in your position as a mayor of Palatine, help us understand this.

It was reported in the Arlington Heights Daily Herald that

You, along with the mayor of Rolling Meadows and the mayor of Schaumburg, outlined your concerns over what's going on and potential implications for your communities.

And you sent a letter to or correspondence with the governor, Governor Pritzker, Senate President Don Harmon and House Speaker Chris Welch.

What what concerns did you express and how satisfied are you that they're being addressed?

Do you have confidence that we will get clarity on this before the end of the month when the session expires and everybody is supposed to go home for the summer?

Do you think that this will be something resolved by June 1st?
