And I think the question of mass immigration in Europe was for many years this total taboo.

And it still is in several European countries.

Now for

reasons of maybe just chance and happenstance, they weren't in Denmark.

The Danes started having the discussion around mass immigration and the consequences thereof in the mid nineties.

Really early.

And some of it can be

Uh traced back to one man, Mons Glistrop.

who was a very quirky character.

I remember him seeing him on the TV in the eighties talking about the dangers of mass immigration.

And this was at a time where I grew up in the eighties.

And in the uh neighborhood I grew up in, in uh in Bontoy,

In what was it, eighty four, ninety-nine percent

Ethnic Danes.

People who could trace their lineage back to Danes who'd lived in that country for a thousand years.

The Danes have one of the oldest monarchies in the world all the way back to Harold Bluetooth, who's literally who has named the standard Bluetooth.

So well over a thousand years, like there's a long lineage there of people who lived in the same place.

And ninety nine percent of the people lived in that neighborhood.

And then early nineties, I think it goes to

to to five percent or something like that.
