I've seen a lot of football.
I'm only a chronicler.
I only follow it.
But I try to learn from what people like you did on the pitch and what coaches teach me.
The thing I'll go back to is that, for example, Jamie, if you ask Eto'o,
to pick a favourite player of his time at Barcelona.
He won't pick Ronaldinho.
He won't pick Messi.
He'll pick Iniesta.
And Iniesta, in terms of, you're talking about the greatest, his ability to pluck solutions.
He's left on the bench in 2006 against Arsenal.
He comes on, he changes the game, he makes the opening pass for the 1-1 goal that Henry touches on to Larsson.
He literally opens up that game when Arsenal, with 10 men, are looking like they're going to win.
He plays 60% fit in 2009.
He's got a thigh injury so bad that his physio tells him that if he shoots at goal, his thigh muscle will ping and he'll be out for months and he'll be taken off.
He cannot shoot.
He doesn't know how he played that night, but he did.
And Rooney comes off the pitch in Rome saying, we've been beaten by the best player in the world.
And he names Iniesta, not Messi.
If you think about Xavi, in my personal opinion, the football, the midfielder who's given me the most pleasure about watching touch, turn, movement, prompting.
