The McPherson Square component of this was actually canceled as well as the march due to the weather.

So they are just getting ready and coming into Metropolitan AME Church here.

They just opened the doors a few minutes ago and you can see a line of people that are coming in right now.

There's going to be a church service here.

This is the organization run by Reverend Al Sharpton.

Interesting sort of confluence of events today, given that this is Martin Luther King Jr.

Day as well as Inauguration Day.

So the event is essentially an acknowledgment that they are not happy with the fact that Donald Trump is about to be president again.

But that said, sort of an acknowledgment to continue, in their words, honoring the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

and continuing their fight for equality.
