it works both ways you're right in what you're saying if you're playing a game and you're under the pump and you're defending massively you're just looking for something to break the play sometimes that's when you know you win a foul up the pitch and when the boys goes down for a minute or two to get treatment I know they've changed the rulings on that now but
The hydration break can come at a good time when a team is really under pressure and they're defending for their lives.
And then it's just, you know, for the team then who are pushing hard, it can almost knock their flow.
So it does work both ways.
And you've seen that in the World Cup with certain teams when they've, you know, even last night, I know there's been a lot of talk if you look at
I think it's Messi, Scaloni and Martinez during the first hydration break.
It's like, obviously, Cape Verde are sitting there with the back four, the five in front and they're making it really compact in and around the edge of the box.
And it's like Messi's almost saying, no, put it in behind and I'll make a couple of runs and just play it.
And then he scores not long after it.
So,
You know, that's where the parts kind of come in with the hydration breaks.
If they were to do it again, it's like the manager shouldn't be allowed.
Do you know what I mean?
If they wanted to be just hydration breaks, then do you know what I mean?
It should be just.
And the sports scientist brings out a crate of water, but it's always a moment whenever there's an injury.
If you're on the touchline, if there's a moment to get some information to a player, you'll try and do it.
And certainly if you can help your team, then you'll do it.
