And that's something that we're really focused on.

I don't think he actually funds us.

So I think this is not about us so much.

I think that my appeal would be a very simple one, that to continue to have the gains from global economic integration, those who are doing well out of it need to bear the burdens.

And at the moment, we're in danger of running into a situation where people want to have the benefits of globalization without the burdens and responsibilities of it.

And that's the situation that we're concerned about, that we're facing.

You've got rising numbers of people in humanitarian need, more refugees than any time since the Second World War, more internally displaced people.

And

It's a moment when the backlash against globalization is going to grow unless there is responsibility for it.

Now, of course, that responsibility is at home as well.

So the inequalities that exist within the United States or within European countries have grown.

Actually, inequalities have grown in China.

They've grown in South Africa as well.

So inequality within countries is on the rise.

But there's also global inequalities, and the people who are being left most behind, the extreme poor, are those trapped in conflict.

That's the biggest dividing line in the global poverty situation, is that if you're born in a poor country that's stable, you've got a chance.

If you're born in a poor country that is in civil conflict, in war, you're really behind the eight ball.

What happens if these financial trends continue?

I think that there's more misery.

Never forget that, that if you take away something from people who have very little, there's more misery.
