And it just looked like, well, that's the race over.

And so it was simply a case of who was strong enough to be there.

There was no battle.

There was none of these counterattacks from the behind joining up.

It was just, you could sense just the exhaustion.

And so you felt, and I guess that was the sentiment, oh, this is going to be a bit of a boring day because everyone's just so tired.

Pogacar's got no team, Vingegaard's not here, Lipowitz isn't here to set up Remco, do anything.

And so it seemed like, okay, we're going to go back to an old school Tour de France where we'll watch the battle at the front and...
