yeah you could say that yeah yeah because decathlon looking good they will be in the back of their mind they will be now just hoping that is out del toro and tade pogacar stay bug free that's because it feels like something's running through their camp a little bit yeah i mean because let's be honest they pogacar doesn't need a team at this point in the race because the race is going to take care of itself especially with the podium battle going on between red bull and decathlon who have strong teams
it does mean that the race is going to be kind of controlled.
He just has to stick near them.
But yeah, the big risk now is, are Del Toro and Pogacar going to get sick?
Because that's not the worst case scenario.
I mean, it's worth just going a bit further back, actually, because when we talked about that eight rider group with Pedersen and the race kept firing up behind, at one point, the Carapaz and Parry Pants were over a minute and a half behind in the yellow jersey group.
And in between, to give an idea of the chaos of the race, in between them and the Pedersen group was a group of five riders.
That was with Healy, Tratnik, Vasek, Schmidt, Garcia.
But then they counterattacked behind, again, Carapaz and Paripant and a bunch of other riders.
They then bridged up to that second group.
And then they then managed to bridge back up to the first group.
I mean, it was a huge ride from Paripant and Carapaz because they had to come back.
It looked like the race was over for them.
They've basically been hopping between groups, the two of them, and eventually got back up to the front.
Yeah.
Which is crazy when you think about it.
It is, absolutely.
Because, I mean, Pariopantra was chasing all the points and getting them in that first part and then dropped back, got caught out.
