So you're taking that wider apex into it.
And in recon, they'll know this.
They even have the pads up.
But when you're in the heat of the race and it's quite deep in, you're a little bit scared and you always underestimate how fast you'll be going in the race.
And it's exactly what happened.
He's come in and just realized on the exit, he's not, he's carrying too much speed.
He's not gonna be able to swing out and he just locks up and it's just, basically he tries to turn at the apex, realizing the shorter exit and the wheels just slide out from under him and it goes sliding into the barriers and yeah.
got it and squeezed it through.
But it was such fine margins.
Yeah, it was.
Wonderful.
I mean, it was archetypal perfection, time trial world champion of perfection.
You know, he comes in and I think even I and many others were convinced that Paul Gaccia would beat him today because the nature of the course and the fact we're in the third week of a grand tour.
And but he was completely dominant and he just looks incredible on the bike.
He's so smooth.
Yeah, he's he really is the the iconic kind of perfect time trialist.
