Things might echo or reproduce themselves in some ways in North America, whether that resulted in being opaque to understanding or maybe being seen in ways that foreclose understanding.

I don't know if this is even speaking to you, but that conversation you had made me wonder a little bit more about your experience outside of the home in Dearborn.

And you've already alluded to the

fact that Arabic was of course the language that you were engaging with more than Kurdish or or Dari.

Well, I want to ask the flip side of this, and maybe that will sort of round this out, because I'm also curious about the Kurdish poets collective, which you and Tracy are part of in your experience there.

I I watched an event with the two of you and two other Kurdish writers in the collective.

And for some of you, this was the first time in your lives to gather, if remotely, with other Kurdish writers.

writers, which was very moving, even simply for me as a bystander and a witness.

But one thing that struck me was how profoundly different the four of your experiences were in so many different ways.
