Niall Keane used to get in gold, and we used to have this thing of, put a tenner in, three penalties, and it was a tenner, he was running the book, and we'd get on the coach, and he'd walk up now, and Quinny's saying, Gary, you're 50 quid up, you're 20 quid down.
Jack missed the penalty early doors and bailed out the tenner straight away.
He didn't get anything else after that.
And that was really, that went on for about seven weeks, and those lads,
they were in, Quinney owed a lot of money to were the ones who really took the penalties, honestly.
Every day was going on, honestly.
But Quinney, as we'd drive back to the hotel after the training, Quinney'd walk up and down with his envelope saying, you owe me 50 quid, I owe you, you know, and he was totting it up all the time.
And Gary, I remember we were playing England at Wembley on a Wednesday and we joined up again on the Sunday.
We've got two tables at the PFA Awards on that Sunday evening and the lads had gone out for Sunday lunch and it turned out a real long Sunday lunch and about four of us turned up
to occupy these two tables at the wards.
The England team were on them.
And Robbo, Brian Robson said to me, where's all the lads?
I said, Robbo, you know, they're all back in bed.
