There are ambulance chasing lawyers out there who have been proposing action to clubs for quite some time.

I'm talking months, maybe even years as this has gone on and clubs will have been speaking.

We saw what happened with Burnley and Everton.

That's a very fascinating and important case in all of this because action has happened and it probably will happen in this because

and ramifications for clubs that have missed out on Champions League.

I think I was reading Tottenham six times to Manchester City in that period.

Teams relegated, clubs who had sponsorship agreements that would allow massive bonuses if they got into European competition, players and their bonuses.

There is so much at stake here that it's inevitable we'll see action.

And I don't think when you look at

the magnitude of the clubs involved in the Premier League, the egos and the wealth of the owners, the amount at stake for all of those clubs, that they're going to be frightened of Man City here.

I think they're going to come forward and put their best foot forward to try and take action.

And I think that's going to be one of the biggest stories, the greatest unknowns in all of this.

And that's why, you know, you could see all hell breaking loose.

It's not an amazing situation for the Premier League to be in, taking in one of its...

taking on one of its members, its record title winner.

And, you know, this is a seismic day.

I mean, the like of which the Premier League's not seen before, nor European or world football.

However, the big question is what's to come on the punishment and then City's reaction and how far they fight it.

You imagine that the sanctions would come relatively soon, but I think the appeal could take quite some time.

And then we've seen parallel examples that I'm sure you'll explore.
