And they're going in this completely different direction because on economic policy, the ship has sailed to disaster.

Well, you know, we sometimes jokingly say after these police investigations gone wrong, we've investigated ourselves and have cleared ourselves of all wrongdoing.

You know, we will sometimes say that.

Here what we have is they've sued themselves and they won.

And then if there's any alleged wrongdoing with what they do with this one point seven billion, they will investigate themselves and they will again clear themselves.

Now, I do think it's worth reminding people we are potentially just months from taking investigative power away from Republicans and Democrats getting it.

And although it's not the one sole biggest victory in the world, making the last two years of this term,

a living hell for these people by embroiling them in investigations and oversight.

I do think that there is value in that.

But let me say one other thing.

I've been Adam Kinzinger there said every single Republican should be outraged about this.

I think that's right.

And I've been talking to my audience about how I don't think we're ever all going to agree about what the top tax rate is going to be.

I don't think we're all ever going to agree.

And I'm saying the entire voting public about what the law on abortion should necessarily be or how interventionist our foreign policy should be.

But there is something about the brazen corruption that is even turning many Republicans against Donald Trump.
