I mean, I struggle with that.

And you know, one of the things, I'm actually curious your take on it.

One of the things that often happens to me is,

I might read your books about stoicism, or Viktor Frankl's A Man's Search for Meaning, or whatever.

In the moment you're reading it, there are things in these books where you go, wow, that thing, if I had the presence of mind to bring that up

In these scenarios, it would be so useful to me.

And then you're kind of done with the book and you go back to your life.

And at the time where it would be super useful to me, one of two things happen.

I either don't remember it or I do remember and I go, this situation is too crazy for that to really be useful to me.

It doesn't apply to this.

This situation is different kind of thing.

And if I think about the people I know personally,

It's probably 50-50 split between those who are paying attention to nothing and are just too consumed with everything in a way that is kind of makes it impossible to really dig in more deeply or to feel like you can maybe act on some of this stuff.

I don't know that one is necessarily a bigger problem than the other.

I see both.

Well, the problem with distinguishing the two, one problem is that a lot of commentary is disguised to look like news.

And this was a really big topic.

Fox News was created in 1996, and their programming has evolved over time.

but it's all basically packaged the same way, where if you flip by, it kind of all looks like news.

There's the Fox logo in, I don't remember what corner it's in, and there's something that says it's breaking news, and the anchors are very well, the anchors or commentators are very well lit, they sound good, they look good, et cetera.
