Well, you know, the minister will say that they think they came up with this.
It's like a code of conduct sort of thing.
Voluntary code of conduct?
Very effective.
I think there's like guidelines and like standards they have to abide by.
when it comes to data centers and things like that.
But just, I don't know, like have any of these big tech companies abided by voluntary anything?
So, yeah, it's a huge conversation.
I think just the pace of changes.
I attended this roundtable a while ago with... Really, some of the leading economists in the country.
And they were talking about the tax system and how we could make changes and all the rest.
And there was a time for questions.
And I said... One of the things...
I'm concerned we haven't really touched on at all is the impact of AI on jobs and therefore on government revenue, given we are overly reliant in this country on income tax and what that'll mean.
And honestly, within about 60 seconds was brushed off and they said other jobs will be created.
This is just some new technology and there'll be other jobs elsewhere.
But like where, where are these other jobs?
I don't think this is like some of the past,
technological advances from what i've read and sort of um yeah uh scene of some of the the advances would you support a universal basic income well in in the absence of like in when you have huge unemployment you have to look for options and i guess this comes back to something i think i mentioned earlier like how do we actually build an economy that serves people like what's it all for
