So I think that, to me, is amazing and exciting as an example.
The other side...
If you look at any technological innovation, if you take the invention of the spreadsheet, for example, which I think is an underrated piece of tech, it destroyed the whole careers.
There were a career of clerks.
It destroyed them.
If you look at the stats of what happens when a mass...
destruction of a workforce like that or from innovation.
The results are worse than that.
If you get if you're part of that, not only do you lose your job, but your income over your life declines by over 20%.
And even worse, your mortality rate in the first year, it doubles.
So losing your job from a displacement is very, very bad.
But if you look at that spreadsheet, it created a whole new profession of financial analysts.
And now because the cost of running stats and math was way less, it was a net gain.
It's just the people who gained were not the same people who lost.
And so I think the thing we have to watch out for is how do we make that group that's going to lose as small as possible?
If you are laid off,
You need to find another job as fast as possible.
But you ideally want to be training before that happens so that the job you get isn't the same type of job you had, but is actually one for that new evolved world.
So I think the, I mean, the nice thing, or like, I'm trying to look for some pros here, right?
