I think sometimes we need constraints to be create a to spur our creativity.
And then I thought about my grandmother and, you know, the lessons I learned from her.
And so then, you know, I incorporated the company and our holding company is actually named after her.
So it's Yonka Industries, which was her nickname.
And so and I decided that I want to do something that it cannot be take.
I can create something that other people can't take away from each other.
I think it's debilitating in some ways because so much of our identity in the modern world is based on our profession and work.
I'll even say more than that.
I think so much of our, we are incentivized and rewarded from a very early age to seek and gain the approval of others.
And entrepreneurship is by nature a rejection of that.
So if you, when you tell people about the idea, I mean, I told people about the ideas I had, almost everybody says your idea sucks.
And that like really it's hard because at the time, I mean, you want good, you want great grades.
You want your boss to give you emotion.
You want your mom, dad to think, you know, whatever.
Yeah, exactly.
And so, and then you start realizing that in fact, if nine out of people say your idea is good.
It's probably not a good idea because that means like it's a consensus idea.
Entrepreneurship is usually about finding the thing, the missed opportunity, the opportunity other people do not see.
So, in fact, now when nine out of 10 people say something's impossible, I try to train myself that that's when I lean in now.
Now, at the time, that was not the case.
