Well, I mean, obviously judge is the key and that Homer last night.
It's funny.
I've just been listening to everybody just kind of bash him on not going on a rehab assignment.
Um, so I looked up some numbers in 2023 when he had that toe issue and was out for a good bit.
His first nine games, he's 5-for-27 with eight punches.
That's a buck-85 batting average in his first nine games.
His first six games back so far and hitting the home run last night, he's 4-for-21 with 11 Ks, right?
So similar kind of path, not starting off great.
Yeah, but the team's 3-and-1.
They're winning, no doubt.
Well, his presence, that's what I'm getting to.
So his presence is, one, a factor already.
Like, you can't take him for granted.
He's making everybody in that lineup better, that lineup deeper.
But when you go back to 2023 and you talk about the 57 games after that injury, including that slow start, he ended with a 966 OPS.
Like, he's going to be fine.
And you can train on the trajectory all you want.
Like, it's going to help your timing a little bit, but there's nothing like getting live reps.
