Like I didn't ever go to prison like he went to prison.

But that one decision, I'm always fascinated by this because like that one decision of a man that I don't remember meeting because he died when I was really, really young.

So I have no memory of him.

It's like literally changed the trajectory of my life.

And one of the most important things about growing up in South Florida as the son of a Cuban immigrant is I would constantly nine, seven, 10 years old meet people that came over here on rafts.

I was like, this is such a weird thing.

It's like, that's a one-way trip.

Where are the Americans going to the end of Miami Beach and putting their kid on a raft and hoping to get to Cuba?

So I kind of inherently understood that I was born into a very special environment.

No control.

I didn't make that decision.

His decision changed the trajectory of my life.

And I do think one thing I'm trying to do with the new show is like, hey, I'm very pro-capitalistic.

I'm not...

I'm against crony capitalism.

I like people that build products and make other people's lives better and then spread those products and services to more people.

And as a result, they can generate wealth for themselves, for their employees, for shareholders of public companies, like John Mackey, founder of Whole Foods.

I've spent a bunch of time with him.

Uh, we become friends.

He was one of my first guests on my new show and his whole thing, he grew up in, he was a hitchhiking hippie dropping acid in Austin where we are today.
