In-N-Out is successful in California.
Why can't I be successful in, he started in Louisiana, Baton Rouge, and LSU was his first restaurant.
Just selling one item, but doing it better than anybody else.
Just like In-N-Out tries to be the best hamburger than anybody else when Harry Snyder founded the company.
And that idea of find a simple idea and take it seriously is a maxim from Charlie Munger, who's a hero of mine, who I talked about the last time I was on your show.
And what Charlie spent six decades, seven decades studying is he wanted to study extreme business success.
And what he realized is like, oh, what we find in business, and I would say in life, because me and you were doing this with podcasting, is the winning system oftentimes goes ridiculously far minimizing or maximizing one or a few variables.
Mm-hmm.
All the people that we've talked about, all the people I've had on my show, all the successful entrepreneurs that you'll talk to are our study.
It's like you realize they have very simple businesses, even if what they're doing is super complex.
Like what's more complex about shooting a rocket and landing it?
But if you read about Elon, he's like, all he talks about is simplifying, taking the idea very seriously, deleting, reducing complexity.
So Todd Graves, his whole thing was like, well,
I'm going to sell – his original idea was I'm going to sell chicken fingers better than anybody else, and I'm going to do it to drunk college kids.
That's what he thought was the total addressable market that he had.
And then he realized – so he thought, I'm going to be able to sell it to you when you're out drinking.
But he was also open during the day.
He starts getting busy during the day.
