There's a big chunk of camera who can't seem to distinguish
between the national interests of the United States and the national interests of Australia.
And I suppose if you don't see a difference between the two, you might invite Palantir in for afternoon tea.
Well, I mean, it's evolved like some kind of antibiotic-resistant amoeba in the last two decades since.
It's now found itself literally throughout large chunks of the US military, the US Immigration Enforcement Service, or ICE,
It's been used by the Israeli military and Israeli security agencies.
Its data and data analysis has been used to target and kill people in the genocide in Gaza, in the conflict in Lebanon.
We know that it's been used by the US military for target acquisition in target acquisitions such as, you know, sanitized name for finding people and people to kill and things to blow up in Iran.
And it's been put on hyperdrive, if you like, under the Trump administration.
And what we have been finding is that that march through the US government and its military and security agencies is now beginning in Australia.
The federal government here has signed something like $60 million in contracts with Palantir.
They're inside our defence signals directorate, our sort of top secret security defence intelligence gathering agencies.
They're marching through corporate Australia, corporations like Coles.
But they're not just a data analyst company.
Palantir are a political project, a far-right extremist political project, which is getting access to all this data.
And I've got to tell you, it makes me really anxious.
You don't have to go very far to find out their political project.
They literally issued a manifesto.
I think it was a 22-point manifesto.
And in the manifesto, they basically said that they want to be weaponising AI with the US military and talking about a duty and an obligation
