I mean, that is a like, I don't want to live in a 24-7 surveillance state.
And not it's not only for the people being filmed, by the way.
The privacy impacts for wearing these things, feeding all of that real-time data back to whatever platform you're hooked up to.
They don't just know what what you're scrolling.
They don't just know what you buy.
They know what you looked at, what you didn't buy, who you spoke to, where you went.
The sheer amount of data that this is feeding into these platforms, most of it's been offshore, with no privacy protections for the users, is also a significant concern for us.
Oh, look, I mean, this is proof positive we can push back against big tech.
When we first started calling out Palantir and Celebrite and some of these, you know, vampire data harvesters about two years ago, it felt very lonely.
But I've got to tell you, the um the community has got on board in an extraordinary kind of way.
And I do want to give credit to GetUp too, who came up with a very creative campaign focused on coals.
And, you know, it's good to work with groups like that, work with
With society.
And when we got news that Coles wasn't going to renew their Palantir contract, I thought that was a real show of how organizing the community, directing them against some of these big platforms can actually win.
Because Coles didn't do this because they suddenly had a, you know, deep change of corporate heart.
They didn't wake up and said, oh no, we don't want to track our customers.
Coles did this because their customers went into revolt.
And it's a great example going forward.

No, I mean we've got a Labour government that is absolutely resistant to this and they're being backed in and protected by the coalition and and to be quite frank, a bunch of the people in one nation who don't who seem to say, well, actually, these are big US tech platforms and they suggest that the Greens have got some problem with the United States and we should be loyal to the United States and don't question these big US tech platforms.
