So I was the one that sort of stepped away from all of that.
And ultimately the last frontier for me of releasing all of that was when I quit my corporate job in 2017 and started the Stream of David as more than just a podcast.
I'd started the podcast, I'd written the book, but I then I went into to teaching and coaching and just sharing this for a living.
And to this day I have not pocketed the kind of money that I pocketed in corporate, but now I love what I do every single day.
I absolutely love what I do all day, every day.
And when I was in corporate, I did not.
So there's there's a huge difference there, but I still appreciate material things and money.
I appreciate our system of commerce because it's based on exchange.
Because you could say, well, gosh, if you're spiritual, you shouldn't want for anything.
You should just be happy with whatever you have.
I think there's nothing wrong with that.
If that's what if that's really what you want, to live a simple life.
But at the end of the day, unless you're going to go and live in the wilderness, which again, you can do that as well.
You're going to live in a structure.
You're going to eat food.
You're probably going to need electricity.
You need health care in this society.
Our society is built on a system of commerce.
And if you think about it, we all chose to manifest into this.
And I think most spiritual people would agree with this.
