There's a term called the tag tail wags of the dog.
And that's essentially that you create oh, there's all these conspiracies and stuff.
And it's like, well, no, not really.
It's just the simple, but because of the simple stupidity thing, all these conspiracies can actually happen.
Um, and so this bill started out because a group called Every Town for Gun Safety put it out into the world.
They
have done other gun safety advocation, all sorts of stuff like that.
They've done good work, whatever.
But they put this bill out there because it's a clickbait bill, because it's sexy and it's scary.
And it's like a third rail of legislation because it talks about guns.
And so, you know, you don't want to ever be against anti-gun legislation because that'll like you know, that's bad optics.
So that's why it's in the bill.
But if you look at the actual context of what's written, the actual legalese of this, there's nothing in there about firearms.
It's all about 3D printing and technology and it
miscategorizes the technology so badly that it violates the First Amendment on multiple levels for things like prior restraint and compelled speech.
These are the core elements.
That's why I'm working with the ACLU on the matter and multiple other organizations.
It's that aspect of this.
And this is the core element of it where they have gaslitten people about this.
And that's what we're fighting on.
