Look, I did a bit of work on this this week.
It's a number that I helped calculate called the mattress penalty.
So if you put €300 aside every month and you run it over 30 years, if you put it in just your current account or you put it in the markets, the difference by the end of 30 years can be half a million euros.
So the numbers can be quite substantial when financial markets begin to compound over time.
And there's a real inequity there.
There's people who go through the hurdles, go through the bureaucratic paperwork we have now to invest in markets.
But countries like Sweden and the UK provide a clearer route that's more accessible, not just for the very wealthiest, for Middle Ireland as well.
And more people then put money in the stock market.

Okay, broad question about it.
It's a great point.
And that's why what really matters in the details of the scheme is what the tax-free threshold would be.
Because in the UK, for example, you're currently capped at £20,000 of adding to that investment scheme each year.
