I mean I th the way I was put it is this is a very conservative theory.
It tries to take quantum mechanics exactly as it is, and it tries to understand it exactly the kind of way we've been used to understanding physics theories since Newton, i.e.
they describe
physical systems that evolve and do their own thing and the processes of humans intervening in that s in those systems is just more dynamics and to be handled by the equations.

Because in a certain sense of course it is ontologically extravagant, then what people think when they hear about many worlds is somehow you've decided to
add this ridiculous ontology to the theory, whereas the the ontology was in there anyway.
